TeamConstruction

What will you do?

Are you an experienced structural fitter with a passion for engineering? Do you enjoy working with advanced machinery and would you like to contribute to the production of high-quality welded components? Then we’re looking for you!

We are embarking on a transformation within our robotics department. From now on, we will be assembling and preparing all products to be welded by the robot directly at the robot’s workstation. This means: shorter lines of communication, smarter processes and much more teamwork. And you can play a key role in this.

You’ll be joining a close-knit and motivated team of five colleagues. Together with the programming team, which handles the welding programmes, you’ll be responsible for achieving the planned output. You’ll be building parts for various types of trailers, so there’s plenty of variety. A fantastic opportunity to be part of this!

As a welding fitter for the welding robot, you ensure that everything runs smoothly. From preparing and assembling the product to setting up the robot: you are the key link that ensures the machine performs to its full potential and delivers top quality.

Your duties will include:

  • Reading and understanding technical drawings;
  • Carrying out welding work on various structures;
  • Setting up and operating the welding robot to weld specific products;
  • Carrying out quality checks on the finished product;
  • Identifying technical faults and resolving these issues in collaboration with your colleagues

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

  • A family-run business with an informal atmosphere and a genuine concern for one another;
  • A dynamic working environment where you can shape your role in a personalised way;
  • Salary based on experience, paid fortnightly;
  • 25 days’ annual leave + 13 days’ additional leave for a good work-life balance;
  • Development and training opportunities; let us know your preferences and we’ll work with you to find a solution;
  • Good pension scheme;
  • Travel allowance;
  • Terms of employment in accordance with the Metal & Engineering Collective Labour Agreement.

What do we ask?

  • VMBO level of working and thinking;
  • Proven experience as a structural fitter;
  • Good communication skills are essential, preferably in Dutch;
  • Technical understanding and the ability to read drawings;
  • An interest in trailers, transport or the automotive sector is an advantage;
  • You have an eye for quality and safety;
  • You are independent, meticulous and enjoy working as part of a team.

Where do you work?

At Nooteboom Trailers B.V. we work hard to design, produce and maintain innovative trailers for exceptional road transport. The product range includes trailers and semi-trailers with a loading capacity of 20 to 200 tons. We focus mainly on the European market.

In an organization with an informal character and short lines, we strive for the highest quality, reliability and level of service in the industry. As a team, we enjoy working with the most modern techniques, and we are proud of that every day.

We listen carefully to our customers before we design and produce a trailer. From idea to delivery of a moving trailer, you can experience it all up close. This makes every trailer and every day of work at Nooteboom unique!
