What will you do?

As part of the Nooteboom Group, Nooteboom Trailers B.V. is one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of road-bound special transport vehicles with load capacities from 20 to 1,000 tons. Four hundred highly motivated employees currently achieve annual sales of approximately 100 million euros.

To strengthen our sales team we are looking for a Country Sales Manager for the Benelux, Dach and Poland sales area.

To serve our customers in the Benelux, Germany, Austria and Poland, we would like to welcome a new team member, living ideally in the center of this area. You will be part of our international sales team. As part of our international sales team, you will regularly meet in the Netherlands to exchange knowledge, participate in training sessions, and strengthen team collaboration.

You will report to the Commercial Director and work closely with the local sales employees in Benelux, DACH and Poland. Nooteboom Trailers is ambitious, innovative and growing. Our team has structurally improved its market position during the last few years and we intend to continue on this path.

 

Serving our clients, and provide them advice, is what drives you and gives you energy. Understanding customer requirements and finding the right product for them gives you a buzz. You show personal engagement, attention for the customer, focus on opportunities and have a strong motivation to see things through. You are energized by customer interaction and technological innovation. You build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor.

 

Your responsibilities:

 

·       Develop sales and marketing plans for your region;

·       Develop and present Nooteboom Trailers solutions to customers;

·       Sell vehicles and services to customers;

·       Support dealers of his area;

·       Responsible for several key accounts;

·       Provide (technical) advice to customers about various transport solutions;

·       Maintain and develop the customer database;

·       Translate market developments into sales approaches;

·       Take part in exhibitions and trade fairs;

·        Initiate market-oriented activities in order to improve market position.

What do we ask?

·       A technically experienced businessman or business economist with experience as a senior sales manager in the commercial vehicle, construction equipment or mobile crane sector;

·       Experience with motivating, coaching and training team members;

·       Ability to purposefully assess customer requirements and development potential, independent contract negotiations with the ability to close deals;

·       Ability to work actively and independently in an international team (English, Dutch and German spoken and written);

·       Able to work with common MS Office programs and CRM systems;

·       Reside in the sales territory with own home office, besides working in Wijchen headquarters;

·       Willingness to work flexible hours and travel extensively to other countries.
