What will you do?

As part of a family company you will be entrusted with applying your commercial and technical knowledge to our  local customers in the Special Transport sector. Your natural ease in human contact enables you to quickly understand customer needs and provide solutions that align with their expectations.

The center of your prospecting area will preferably be located in the Mid and Northern part of France.

 

As a Commercial & Technical Representative, you will combine strategic sales activities with hands-on technical support. You will be the key contact for service points and end users, providing guidance, identifying parts, and ensuring smooth operations. Your role will also include proactive sales, training, and regular visits to service locations across Mid and Northern France.

Your responsibilities:

·        Prospect and develop business opportunities in Mid and Northern France;

·        Build and maintain relationships with local Special Transport  stakeholders;

·        Proactively sell spare parts and support service point deliveries;

·        Visit service points to develop business;

·        Attend meetings at Nooteboom headquarters (at least 2 times/year);

·        Provide technical assistance to service points and end users by phone;

·        Identify and locate parts for troubleshooting (“dépannages”);

·        Support with guarantees: handle requests, provide explanations, and offer solutions;

·        Follow up on repairs for French customers at the factory in Wijchen;

·        Conduct training sessions for service mechanics;

·        Perform on-site repairs at customer locations.

What do we ask?

·        Solid knowledge of automotive, agricultural, or heavy goods vehicle technology;

·        Experience in technical sales and customer relationship management;

·        Familiarity with garages, agricultural businesses, public works, or distributors;

·        Background in spare parts or automotive workshops, is a strong asset;

·        Native French speaker with good command of English; German is a plus;

·        Strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and autonomy;

·        Genuine interest in technical products and customer satisfaction.

At Nooteboom Trailers B.V. we work hard to design, produce and maintain innovative trailers for exceptional road transport. The product range includes trailers and semi-trailers with a loading capacity of 20 to 200 tons. We focus mainly on the European market.
